Sing Along with Shami!

Yeah, baby! Farouk has released a campaign song on the eve of Bill White kicking his butt at the polls. While this is four minutes, 21 seconds of your life you'll never get back, you are going to want to hear this so you are in on the joke we'll be telling for years to come.
Some highlights from the lyrics (main thing you need to know: Farouk is on fire!):
"You think he wears suits just to look handsome? Serving the community, lending a helping hand - son. He rolled up his sleeves, telling them owners to stop sending those jobs overseas. Farouk, he's on fire, and he's reppin' the state with a desire."
"Now say it, Farouk, Farouk, Farouk is on fire. Serving the community his number one desire!"
Oh, and catch the part about he's just like Obama. Hilarious!
Poor Shelley Sekula Gibbs. This puts her sad, pathetic little "Vote Twice for Shelley" beer barrel polka in its place.
Next to seeing their campaign signs on every road they travel, there's nothing candidates like more than to hear their name spoken (or sung?), so Farouk must be one happy man tonight.

I saw my first Farouk bumper sticker on I-45 today. If nothing else, his campaign has adden some much needed humor to the primary.
