The City of Houston precincts in Fort Bend County (mostly Missouri City) voted as follows for Mayor:
70.83% 1969 votes Gene Locke
15.54% 432 votes Peter Brown
9.5% 264 votes Annise Parker
3.71% 103 votes Roy Morales
(3 others got miniscule percentages)
That's a large vote share for Locke, from mostly African American voters.
How many of those will return to vote in the runoff? Look for a big turnout program from Team Locke. That, I can guarantee.
