Muse Does Not Co-Endorse Anyone!

On the heels of internet news this morning that tomorrow the Houston Chronicle will co-endorse Parker and Locke for mayor, I thought I'd relay my sought-after endorsements for the city-wide races! OK, only one person has sought them out - I had someone whom I respect call me for my recommendations yesterday.
So, in the hopes of swaying one more person (while possibly ensuring 100 others choose anyone but the following), here goes:
Mayor: Annise Parker
Controller: Ron Green
At-Large 1: Herman Litt
At-Large 2: Sue Lovell
At-Large 3: Melissa Noriega
At-Large 4: Noel Freeman
At-Large 5: Jolanda Jones
Parker is the most experienced candidate for mayor, and as she said in one debate, "I'll always tell you the truth, even if you don't want to hear it." I personally know her to be smart, loyal, and an extremely hard worker. From day one, the City will be run effectively and efficiently.
Litt has experience as an elected official (HCC School Board) in getting things done and building coalitions to tackle the hard projects. He's been endorsed by a very long list of respected Democrats. For me, he's the obvious choice and the only choice.
Noriega - what can I say? Unopposed for a reason. A very effective City Council member.
Freeman - we've been over this. Google "Bradford Houston Crime Lab" and you'll take an unpleasant walk down memory lane. Freeman will make a terrific Council member. He's knowledgeable and hard working. (See a theme here? Clearly I value knowledge, experience and hard work.)
Jones - Jones has seen injustice before and has fought against the establishment and for the underdog. The best example of that can be found by googling "Jolanda Houston Crime Lab". You may not always appreciate her style, but along with knowledge, experience and hard work (which apply to Jones), I like a fighter.
Early voting begins Monday. You can find all the information you need about polling locations, when the polls are open, where you vote on Election Day, and election results at harrisvotes.com.
