Early Report on Early Vote Numbers

I just got a tweet from @xtinagorczynsk that 518 people early voted today at the Metropolitan Multiservice Center on West Gray. In 2007, 150 people voted at that location on day one of early voting.

This is a convenient location for Montrose residents, so you have to wonder: advantage Annise?

I know for sure that Parker rallied her supporters there at 9 AM to vote with her. Then around 11 AM, Locke did the same.

In 2007, 1681 people voted on day one of early voting. Right now, we have West Gray already at nearly a third of that.

UPDATE: From Twitter: @miyashay: Shortly before 5pm, Harris Co reports 4087 people voted today, compared to 2977 for the 1st day of Early Voting in 2003.
