Aggies Hire Mr. Whipple As Interim President

The newly appointed interim President of TAMU, R. Bowen Loftin released the following statement today: "I am encouraged that the Board of Regents took action to wipe away the recent problems and flush them down the drain. Let me be clear. Under my tenure there will be no squeezing of anything on the Texas A&M campus. Of course, if our esteemed Governor asks us to resume squeezing, I will reply, "How hard? Sir."
