SD. Committee Chair Encourages Protests

I will let him remain unnamed but a chair of an important committee in
SD 17 Fort Bend continually did not follow the rules. When challenged
with a point of order, he would say that if anyone wanted to protest
later they could, but he was going to do what he wanted to do.

He came and found me and two others who were talking about a problem
and asked what we were trying to accomplish and did we want him to
dance a little jig.

Very condescending and out of line.

This was when I was talking to the parliamentarian sent by the TDP.

There were some irritated and unhappy people and I was not the only one.

Some things happened here today that could cause a challenge to
seating of our delegation at the state convention.

Sent from my iPhone

UPDATE: more on this here.

Time to call Jimmy Carter in to observe the elections.

Texas needs a constitutional amendment to abolish caucus voting. It is just too ripe for mischief.

These cheaters blew into the situation and will not show up the next presidential election. There candidate isn't going to win nationally. They will lose interest and go away. But the damage left in their wake will be unbelievable.

New and improved politics? My ass.

But the establishment is so stupid they did this to themselves. They are just so ridiculous that they beg to be screwed over by the very people the establishment thinks it is helping. The cheaters don't give a shit about good will or even people's rights. They care about stealing an election.

This is how I am going to explain it to my students when they ask, as Lewis Black has, about John Kerry. How come the Democrats can't find someone to beat John McCain? Because everyone is too busy getting theirs and fighting hundreds of years of shit that has nothing to do with beating McCain right now.

I also don't like a party that says to candidates to get on the ballot they have to agree to support whoever becomes the nominee. That is a personal right, not something that the Texas Democrats own.

Of course it makes me not want to vote which is exactly what the elitist bastards want.

Sounds like Our Committee Chair...(SD 11) everytime someone brought up an issue, he would say, take it up with us later...
Isn't that why we were there at THAT point? Everyone in our precinct (BOTH Obama and Clinton Delegates) said the whole thing was rigged and they would NEVER attend anything like that again.

SD 11 Harris or Galveston?

We had a big Obama advantage in SD 17 Fort Bend and some of our Hillary delegates to State called me today to tell me how discouraged they were by the heckling of the crowd anytime a Hillary person tried to question anything - in the convention process or in the committees.

There was an attitude of "majority rules" rather than following the rules - which are very specific and are meant to protect everyone's interests.

That sounds nothing like SD11 Harris.
