At Bill Clinton Event In Houston!

Rock star!!!!!!!!! Good freaking grief he knows our state. Charisma,
your name is Bill Clinton.

UPDATE: I got home late after shaking hands and having my photo take with President Clinton! Totally great event. This is a guy who could run any precinct convention in Texas with his eyes closed. Told us about to do if there was no one there to chair it, about the packets from the Party, about the signed paper from your election judge, etc. Knew every elected official in the room and had something personal to say about each one of them - in a way that had us entranced, instead of bored.

He represented Hillary in a spectacular way. I was intrigued by his use of the term "green collar worker". This refers to jobs for folks who would retrofit buildings to be energy efficient under Hillary's energy plan. Talked about Hillary and education, Iraq, HEALTH CARE (nearly everyone in the room raised their hand when he asked if we knew anyone without health insurane) - and how it will be good economic policy to have universal health care, our standing in the world, etc. etc.

So many positive things in his talk. Very exciting and powerful! Hillary is the change-maker!

He was late for our event as well. It's tempting for me to call it Clinton Time, but they had him in Galveston, Beaumont, Victoria and then Houston, in that order yesterday. When I heard the schedule, I knew he was going to be late to the night-time Houston event.

Did he talk about NASA, by any chance? Space program funding?
