Uh Oh, Kay Bailey Hates Blogs

The mood of the country right now is pretty frustrated. People don't like the partisanship -- there's kind of a toxic atmosphere about politics -- I think the blogs, interestingly, feed on that. The intemperate nature of blogs, and the lack of accountability, have had an overall toxic influence on our elections. These blogs are cynical and mean -- on all sides. I don't think that's good. Even if you disagree with the mainstream media, there's a sense of integrity and honesty and standards. There are journalistic standards, which blogs don't have. (Kay Bailey Hutchinson quote from State of Mine)
The mood of the country is frustrated, in part, because they can't straight answers from their government. Media has been quick to slobber all over the Bush administration while failing to investigate and expose their lies.

Sounds like KBH doesn't like the heat on her feet from the fire the blogs bring.

UPDATE: From a spy at a salon on the ground at an undisclosed location: KBH has been spotted experimenting with ever increasing helmet head hairdos, so that the mean, uscrupulous bloggers' words will bounce right off of her when she runs for gov. Whispered to her stylist, "use that NASA hard surface technology, for which I obtained the federal funding."
