You can play that if you want, but I'm not going to go there. The vote that mattered to me was the Geren amendment. Once Craddick's election was a given, the rest was details.

I agree, but it's interesting that very few of the new Dem reps voted no in the end. Just looking at the Houston delegation, Hochberg voted for Craddick.

This seemed like as good a year as any to draw the line in the sand and vote no as a caucus.

This had to have been a stressful day for the new reps. Not a typical opening day, at all, and they were having to vote without a good working knowledge of how this was going to play out for them in the long run.

Did anyone see that 5 second interview of Cohen. The advice she received from veteran reps.: "Just sit down and listen."

I'm proud of "my rep" Robert Alonzo. Another Crystal City boy! I'm so proud...
