The Houston Chronicle reports that Home Builder to the Swift Boaters, Bob Perry (he built my house, damn it!), has poured $8 million dollars into national GOP congressional races, hoping against hope that Americans "Want More Misery" instead of have "Had Enough." He's totally ignoring Shelley, though. That's sorta sad when you think about it. If anyone has money to just literally throw away and not miss it, it's definitely Builder Bob.
So, what is Swift Kick in the Ass Perry up to? He's the only donor, at $2 million, to a new 527 called Honesty on Issues (also known as We'll Destroy You With Lies). They've already distributed most of that to GOP congressional candidates around the country. Sue Walden is the president of this group. She's real special. She raised money for Tom DeLay and was an advisor to Ken Lay.
Now, here is something else interesting. Bob Perry is Shelley's finance chairman. But, he's not listed on her FEC filing as giving any money to her. Not him or any of his PACs.
Perhaps this is why Shelley, with her not-so-well-financed-vote-twice-for-me campaign is resorting to flyering cars outside of community events where she is not welcome.

It's pretty hysterical, actually. Bob Perry puts his name, but not his money, behind the Republican candidate in the district in which he actually resides. His money, on the other hand, apparently goes to Republican candidates he thinks might actually have a chance of winning.

Shelley has been trying real, real hard to do the red meat routine. Her bark is more of a yip, though, and no one will throw her a bone.
I'm just guessing here, but I think it's a safe bet that if you have a Perry built house, it was built, painted, and landscaped by people who would have difficulty:
A) Speaking English
B) Producing residence documentation
