Albert, Rudy, Veronica and Neeta - I Just Voted For You!
Albert Hollan, Rudy Velasquez, Veronica Torres, Neeta Sane - my dear friends! I just had the pleasure of voting for all of you. I can't tell you how happy it made me, after all of these many months of campaigning, to see the little highlighted box by your names on the e-slate machine! I voted straight Democratic (of course), but I went through all of the pages (twice!) so that I could see each of your names on the ballot with my vote for you highlighted. And, there they were. I had such a huge smile on my face as I backed away from the ballot booth that people had to wonder what exactly happened between me and that e-slate.
You are all such terrific candidates and such fine people. It was an honor and a privilege to cast my vote for each of you tonight. And, I'm not done. My GOTV efforts for you start tomorrow!

All of you are going to bring huge amounts of experience, integrity and talent to Fort Bend County government!

I see you used my favorite photo of Veronica.
Well, yes.
Had the "distinction" of being the last voter at the Rosenberg Annex today...straight Dem, with a few Libetarian (aka Republican protest) votes thrown in. Even cast a few votes for those RINO candidates I know.
Think I heard the election judge say 353...guessing that was the total voters there today.
hey, good friend -
Wasn't it fun to vote for our good friends? Wasn't that just the best thing ever?!
Oh. Hell. Yes.
I'll be going sometime tomorrow. I only wish I lived in Pct. 3 so I could vote for Farhan...

mark,
I so agree with you. On the drive home, I said to myself that the only thing spoiling my rush was that I couldn't vote for Farhan. :(
True...at risk of sounding like you-know-who, my "gut" tells me Precinct 3 is the secret to Dem success in FBC.
Right on sister. On the way home from work today I placed some Lampson signs on the corner of Dulles and Lexington. I thought that would make up for not voting yet and calling my GOTV list.
Well I DO live in Precinct 3 and I DID cast my Straight Democratic vote, and that means I DID vote for Farhan. And I put my "I Voted" sticker on the nameplate outside my classroom door.
