Fort Bend Democrats Party All Day Long

There was a fundraiser at the Fort Bend Democrats headquarters today for Veronica Torres, running for Fort Bend County District Clerk. You would have had to seen this to believe it, but it was NON-STOP from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. She pre-sold 300 tickets and a ton of people paid at the door, so there's no telling how many people enjoyed the terrific bar-be-que.

We got an idea of how Veronica is going to run the District Clerk's office. It's going to be organized and efficient, that is for sure!

And, believe it or not, while all of this was going on (with AWESOME music the whole time), we had blockwalkers going out and coming in, more people doing phone banking than we had phones for (I gave one volunteer my cell phone to use the whole time) and a ton of data entry going on for the Lampson campaign.

Check out Veronica's bio. I heard today that Glory Hopkins, the current Fort Bend County District Clerk (and a Republican), told someone that Torres is the best candidate for the job.
