Friday, July 7th, in conjunction with Bay Area New Democrats (BAND) and Katy Area New Democrats Organization (KANDO), we are hosting a "Democratic Reply to Tom DeLay's Monkey Business" at Beck's Prime on Hwy 6 at 7:00 p.m. It's a dutch-treat event. Order your own food and meet on the patio for fun and laughter, rain or shine! Join Democrats from Houston and around the state to say, "Tom DeLay can't cut and run just because we're beating him!"

I was at Lampson headquarters today and the mood was festive! Nick is excited, but there was a funny moment. A visitor made a comment about how, "you have a good chance of beating him now" and Nick and I looked at each other and said together, "we could beat him at ANY time!"
